Oilseeds softening can increate plasticity of oilseeds by adjustment of moisture and temperature during oil press machine processing line. Softening is indispensible in order to achieve required effect of flaking.

Softening section is applicable for oilseeds with low oil content or low moisture oilseeds such as soybean or rapeseeds. Direct flaking without softening section might produce large amount of powder. Low moisture rapeseed needs softening before flaking during rapeseed oil pressing process. However, users should be taken into cautious during softening process of high oil content oilseeds such as peanuts.
